White Bubble | Trinket Dish - Scandi Stoneware

The smallest of the bubble pieces - and perhaps the most delicate. Wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio from grey stoneware clay, this little dish has been pierced entirely by hand with circular holes of varying sizes around the perimeter, with the rim shaped to follow the natural flow of the bubbles. For something made from stoneware, it looks impossibly airy.

Inside, a clean white glaze gives it a soft, luminous quality. The unglazed exterior has the quiet, pebble-like tactility of all the Scandi Stoneware pieces. The base is left unpierced, making it perfect as a trinket dish for rings, earrings, or small keepsakes.
