Where the sea meets the shore, the edge is never quite straight. This beautifully handmade stoneware planter captures that restless quality in its gently ruffled, wavy rim - as if the clay itself remembers the tide. Smaller and more intimate than its Doolin sisters, it has a quiet, sculptural quality all of its own.

Wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio and finished entirely by hand, it features tiny hand-sculpted thatched cottages nestled around the sides, each one painted in bright, cheerful colours. It comes with a matching ocean blue saucer glazed in a flowing blue that ripples like the Atlantic.

With a drainage hole, this planter is fully functional for small plants and succulents. The soft transparent glaze creates a warm, natural backdrop that lets the colourful cottages take centre stage.
