Perched on the rim of this charming handmade trinket bowl from my Studio Originals Collection, a tiny hand-sculpted astronaut sits with their legs dangling, gazing into the deep blue infinity below - completely at peace with the cosmos.

Wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio and finished entirely by hand, this piece wears the same stunning deep glossy black glaze with silver-grey flecks as its companion pieces in the collection. Inside, the bowl is glazed in a rich deep blue that genuinely does look like outer space - which is exactly what inspired this little scene in the first place.

Small but full of wonder, it's perfect for holding rings, earrings, loose change, or any small treasures - or simply for sitting on your shelf and reminding you to look up occasionally.
