You know that feeling of leaning over a rock pool and noticing all the extraordinary things going on beneath the surface? That's exactly what this glaze effect reminds me of. Wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio from grey stoneware clay, the glaze fired in a way I hadn't planned - creating a deep, flowing effect of blue, green, and brown that pools toward the centre like something alive, like staring into the depths of the ocean.

No two firings ever produce this effect twice. This bowl is genuinely unrepeatable.

The tactile unglazed exterior has the quiet, pebble-like quality of all the Scandi Stoneware pieces. At 21cm wide, it's a generous size - perfect for salad, crisps, popcorn, or simply as a beautiful object that earns its place on your table.
