Official business. Very important. Cannot be rushed. Perched on the folded rim of this charming handmade trinket dish from my Studio Originals Collection, a tiny hand-sculpted terrier is conducting a thorough inspection of a bollard post - red ball nearby, priorities firmly in order.

Wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio and finished entirely by hand, this piece wears the same stunning deep glossy black glaze with silver-grey flecks as its companion pieces in the collection. Inside, the dish is glazed in a rich deep blue, creating a beautiful contrast that gives the whole scene an unexpectedly gallery-worthy quality.
