Malibu Blue | Spice Bowl - The Colourful Collection

Crafted in clay - coloured by life. The slip colours in this collection are named (mostly) after fruit and foods, which is exactly the kind of company we think your kitchen deserves.

This little handmade stoneware bowl is wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio. The inside is glazed in a bright tropical blue coloured slip - bold, cheerful, and named with the same spirit as the collection. The outside has been left in its natural white stoneware finish, creating a beautiful contrast between the colourful interior and the clean exterior.

Perfect for herbs and spices, sea salt, condiments, olive oil dipping, or as a small trinket dish for your desk or dressing table. Small enough to be unobtrusive, characterful enough to earn a permanent spot in your kitchen.

These little bowls are thrown off the hump - a technique where multiple pieces are made from a single mound of clay - so each one is slightly unique. The larger bowl measures approximately 5cm high x 8cm wide and the smaller 4.5cm high x 7.5cm wide - perfect for stacking.
