There's always one, isn't there? That little robin who appears the moment you pick up a trowel, tilting his head and watching you work as if he's quietly supervising. This charming handmade trinket pot from my Studio Originals Collection captures exactly that spirit - a tiny hand-sculpted robin perched on the folded rim, inquisitive and utterly at home.

The pot is wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio and finished entirely by hand. The exterior is glazed in a deep, glossy black with beautiful silver-grey flecks - a firing result I love even more than the glaze tin promised. Inside, the pot is glazed in the same rich deep blue as the rest of the Studio Originals Collection, creating a beautiful contrast between the dark exterior and the jewel-like interior.

Small but perfectly formed, it's ideal for holding rings, earrings, keepsakes, or anything small and precious. Or just for sitting on your windowsill and keeping you company while you drink your tea.
