Irish Escape | Plant Pot - Tiny House Collection
Some holidays stay with you long after the suitcase is unpacked. In 2021, our first trip back to Ireland after Covid took us to the small village of Doolin on the wild western coast - and the colourful thatched cottages there have never quite let go of my imagination. This pot was inspired by that trip.
Wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio and finished entirely by hand, this rounded pot features brightly coloured hand-sculpted cottages nestled around the sides - each one with its own tiny front door and slate roof, captured in clay. A soft transparent glaze creates a warm, natural backdrop that lets the cottages take centre stage.
With no drainage hole, this pot is wonderfully versatile - perfect as a small indoor plant pot, a desk tidy, a tea-light candle holder, or simply a decorative piece that brings a little Irish magic to your shelf.
A thoughtful handmade pottery gift for Ireland lovers, cottagecore fans, plant lovers, or anyone who has ever fallen in love with a place and wanted to bring a little of it home.
