Because "Basil" is boring. Who needs a generic herb label when you can have Prickly Bastard, Drama Queen, or Dryer Than My Humour in your garden instead?
These handmade ceramic plant labels are hand-stamped in my East Sussex garden studio, with each word filled with colourful underglaze before being dipped in a clear transparent glaze. The result is bold, readable, and completely irresistible to anyone with a garden, a potted plant, or a sense of humour.
A note on the wonk: some of the labels were fired standing upright in the kiln, which means they have a slight natural curve to them. Others were fired lying flat but propped up off of the kiln shelf, leaving minor kiln prop marks in the glaze on the back of the label. I'm calling this a feature, not a bug - it adds to their handmade charm and they still stand up beautifully in a pot.

Available labels: I sell these at a local market, so my inventory is "fluid" and I make them in small batches, so the colour of the words may differ from what is shown in the photos but they will always be in the same blue, purple and red tones.
