Pick up a pebble on a beach and hold it in your palm for a moment - smooth yet subtly textured, warmed gently by the sun. That's exactly what this mug feels like. Wheel-thrown in my East Sussex garden studio from grey stoneware clay, it has a fully unglazed exterior that is honest, tactile, and completely at ease with itself.

A hand-carved sunshine pattern around the base adds quiet texture and a natural grip. Inside, a clean white glaze offers a lovely contrast to the bare exterior and ensures the mug is food-safe and easy to clean.
